Preston DeGarmo is a writer and editor who oversees communications at Armory. His work has appeared in The Baffler, Evergreen Review, The Cleveland Review of Books, and elsewhere. Before that, he headed Business Development at Impira, a venture-backed machine learning startup acquired by Figma in 2022. He holds a B.A. from Pomona College and an M.F.A. in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University, where he was a Chair's Fellow and Managing Editor of The Line Literary Review. He lives in Kingston, New York.
