Preston DeGarmo is a writer & editor who serves as Editorial Director at ASV, managing the firm’s Substack and web presence. He earned his B.A. from Pomona College and an M.F.A. in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University, where he was a Chair’s Fellow and the Managing Editor of The Line Literary Review. His writing has appeared in publications like The Baffler, Evergreen Review, and The Cleveland Review of Books. He previously led the Business Development team at Impira, a venture-backed ML startup that was sold to Figma in 2022.
Preston is based in Kingston, New York.
